The Nanotechnology class has been disappointing as an inspiration for my science fiction writing. Aside from creating integrated circuits (IC) the technology doesn't seem to have any large scale uses, and those places where it does help don't seem to be world-shaking applications. I was expecting it to be more pervasive, and likely to become even more pervasive in the near future.
Ah well... now I get to search on and keep looking for other technologies that what will become world-shaking over the next decade and inspirations for more fun science fiction stories. It's back to cyber muses again.
