The Baron Rostov Tales

Baron Rostov is a high level magic user who's ancestral lands are in the Balkan peninsula. He has lived long and prospered, and at the end of his career has watched the Industrial Revolution start to penetrate to his part of the Balkans.

These tales are inspired by 70's and 80's style Dungeons and Dragons (something much more story telling-oriented than contemporary D&D). I never ran a Baron Rostov character while I was playing D&D, but the monsters he faces are inspired by the monsters my D&D characters faced when playing in those "old style" worlds. (thank you, old style dungeon masters I played with.)
