ALIEN INVASION!! How the thought has terrorized mankind for centuries! From H. G. Wells' War of the Worlds in 1898, through the UFO scares of the 1950's and after, these worries were just fairy tales. Then in 2136 George Burnmeshorts found the Honeycomb Comet, and extra terrestrials became real, and the possibility of alien invasion became real -- but it was still mostly fantasy because the Honeycomb Comet was a hulk that had been lifeless for millions of years. Then fifty years ago, the "Altair Fragment" of an HX body was discovered, and with it real, live aliens. From a million or billion to one, the possibility was down to a thousand in one....
