These are notes for the Megan's Party time story.
Anton tries to introduce Megan into living an ambitious lifestyle. If she can acclimate to that, he can get interested in her in the romantic way she wants him to see her. Alas, she can't, "There are so many restrictions on doing things. So much of it is so crazy. This isn't what I'm passionate about. No, I'm not interested. I want Kardashian auditions. Those turn me on." So they go their separate ways.
More thoughts: inspired by Devil Wears Prada script. Megan doesn't want to lose her friends. If she gets ambitious she will get disconnected from them. And, she really likes to party hearty, which gets in the way of being disciplined in an ambitious lifestyle way. She also prefers believing in urban mythology rather than hard facts. This is how she has been brought up.
o What are different between AR personality aspirations and real world personality aspirations? What is the conflict? Who wins?
o Because of wearables the physical body party time in the 2050's gets both wild quickly, and then cools quickly. Does anything else special happen that wearables are adjusting for? How does this compare to AR party styles? AR should get wilder and cooler even more quickly. And AR will get even wilder because... What are the consequences? Losing some kind of leveling in-game? The worst is likely social shaming of some sort.
o What is OK to happen in physical party time, but not OK to happen in other real world places?
For example: How much groping is OK to happen in a wearables-fired-up nightclub scene compared to the time-to-work office scene? Can women set up some kind of grope alarm/notice that will tell men around them when they are at their limit? Can this alarm system be gamed? Will the gaming be then become a part of scorned woman social shaming?
o What's different about going out with a guy in the TES lifestyle versus the ambitious lifestyle? What's the same? What's different about going out with ambitious class guys versus TES lifestyle guys? What are the stereotypes? What is different about TES women versus ambitious women?
In TES circles there's going to be less flashy giving -- the date (male or female) won't be rated on their being an ATM. But, on the other hand, the material giving that does take place is going to be more important (more noticable) to the parties that are living TES lifestyles on necessity money. Being an ATM gets a lot more notice in TES circles.
On the other hand, windfall celebrating "I won! Drinks all around, ON ME!"-style behaviour will be much more common in TES circles because this is powerful instinctive thinking.
o How do "loose women" fit into this scheme? What makes both women and men eligable for social media shaming based on this behavior? And, again, what's different between AR and real world mores? And between ambitious and necessity lifestyle mores?
o What is extreme fashion in Necessity and Ambition classes? Tattoos and piercings for example. What's beyond tattoos and piercings? What distinguishes Necessity from Ambition fashion? As in, what is "envy fashion" in both these groups? Envy fashion is going to be more important in TES lifestyles than ambitious class lifestyles because there isn't "work pride" to compete with it.
o Now that short shorts are acceptable in 2010's everyday wear, what's going to push the limit on outrageously sexy fashion next in current times? And in 2050? What will cross the line and be things which are "restricted by school principals", and "only loose women wear" in these environments?
o How is the "woman scorned" threat and rape culture threat handled? How does a woman say "Yes" in a way that reduces legal threats to the man? How is the "male burqua" manifested -- as in, how does a guy show he feels threatened by the woman scorned issue?
o Innovation related to above: a "say yes" checklist that a person's cyber muse keeps and can display to the date's cyber muse, who communicates it to their person. What can they do? Even if the girl is saying "No...no...NO!" in voice, if there is a "yes" on her checklist then no law suit can be filed about abuse -- even if the girl gets into remorse thinking mode the morning after.
o Really big issue: How do Necessity and Ambitious classes mix in normal ways, how do they mix in romantic "this can't keep going" ways?
o At the personal level: How do a girl's muse, and muse friends, and her boyfriends mix? What kind of advice will muses offer about friends and relationships?
This will vary a lot with different models of muses, and it will vary with what their human owners want to hear. Top of the line muses will be very sensitive to what their owners want to hear, and smart about their responses, as in, using analytic thinking. Budget muses will be sensitive mostly to instinctive thinking and emotions because these are simpler thinking styles and more widespread than analytic thinking styles.
