Begging and Entertaining
Begging and entertaining have a lot in common. Both are about attracting the attention of a lot of other people, including a lot of strangers, and getting something tangible in return for that attention.
The difference is which audience instinct is be stroked by the activity. In begging it is sympathy, in entertainment it is admiration.
