Welcome to the Post-Singularity world. This is a series of essays on what it's going to be like for humans who live in this environment. I stress humans because when the singularity comes there will be many more kinds of intelligent life living on Earth and in our solar system, and humans will no longer be the top of the intelligence tree.
But these essays will be about humans, and what those beings who are human will be experiencing.
This is weighty stuff. I will be doing a lot of speculating based on the insights I have gained by thinking about this topic for many years. What you will find in these essays is my speculations on how human thinking will interact with the new "stuff" that our technology advances over the next fifty years will bring.
Chapter One is about axioms and definitions. This chapter is about getting you, the reader, and me on the same playing field.
