Stories of the "America in 2110's" series

The premise of these stories is that world population peaks in the 2050's at 9 billion, and sixty years later is down to 7 billion. The population bomb is beat! Yay! And it didn't take some Malthusian catastrophe, the transition was smooth, like the graying of Japan has been.

That being so, what is life in the US like in 2110's? That's what these stories are about.

• NIMBY: Not in Mars' backyard! -- Those silly humans are at it again, trying to get a colony on Mars (May 10)
• The Best Location in the Nation... Again -- Visting Grandma in Cleveland includes a surprising plant tour (May 10)
• The Geisha -- Every interesting technology has surprise uses. This is a surprise use of cloning humans. (Dec 09)

Other Stories

• Return to Pandora -- This story was inspired by watching the movie Avatar and being so disappointed in the story. I'm starting from the conclusion of that wreck of a story, and telling a better one. (Jan 10)
