Parasites often affect their host’s behavior. The effect can be harmful, such as a flu infestation of a human, or it can be beneficial, such as the infestation of a cow’s stomach with bacteria that can digest cellulose.
This is a story about what might happen if a stranded colony of intelligent, alien parasites started infesting humans living in a dawn-of-agriculture environment.
